All paper crafting today

My first project is a card I made for my brother-in-law. I know I want to have game night once a month, so I've purchased several game type scrapbook paper. I've also purchased a punch and a couple of stamp sets. The king card on the front of the card says "King for a day". When I gave the card to him on Saturday, he said he didn't think that was going to happen. Well, today is his birthday, so I hope he was wrong!

Inside the card I used the punch for a border. It gave it a little something different that just a place to sign my name.

Is this the most adorable picture you've ever seen? I love the way the page turned out, too. I used the Everyday Paper Doll cartridge for the brush, towel, and rubber duck. The two little sweeties are my nephews and they are enjoying the housecoats my Mom made for them. They were going to be in a procession at church for Palm Sunday, so they needed to look like they had robes on.

I need to give credit for the inspiration for these Easter pages to http://okieladybugssscrapnmore.blogspot.com/. I made some changes to accommodate the supplies I have, but it turned out just as cute.

Another cute page featuring my nephews. It shows them on the hill behind my Mom's house. I don't know if the chipmunk is Chip or Dale, but he seemed perfect for a fall page. Gotta love those acorns . . .

And now, April's game night page. You've already seen the pictures, now showing you how the page turned out. I think I'm going to end up with a lot of these pages!

Hope you enjoyed the pages and the card. I have several pictures to scrap for my sister, so get used to seeing my sweet nephews!

  2. I am very lucky to have such a talented sister. I appreciate her willingness to scrapbook for me. The boys love looking at the albums, especially the ones that center on them individually.

Mike loved the birthday card. Just for the record, he was King for the Day. Not only did he receive his favorite pizza and homemade chocolate cake for our dinner celebration, but he got an iPad.
